16 years ago I was hired (as green as they come) to work a daily live talk show at a small television network in Atlanta. One show turned into two and within a couple of years, I had moved into producing.
The majority of my career has taken place in the non-profit world, supporting stage communicators or creating content through storytelling, comedy or personal growth products.
Over the years, I’ve honed my talent by diving into as many production roles as possible—writing scripts, scouting shoot locations, shopping for wardrobe and props, designing sets, procuring the best craft services spread out there, and eventually landing in my most favorite role, directing. I’ve had the privilege to partner with and coach some of today’s most talented communicators. Could you be the next one?
